El día 4 de Diciembre los foreros de Oldsvolks participaron en el XXV Aniversario Circuito de Jerez dónde disfrutamos con los coches y el buen ambiente y lo mejor de todo es que pudimos pasar por los garajes que ha ocupado los pilótos más famosos del mundo. El nivel de autos era increible!

El panel lateral NOS queda a la perfección y con unos retoques aquí y alla casi estamos listos para pintar y aquí no ha pasado nada señores (aunque ya hablaremos con el seguro del contrario!!!!)

Pues ya casi está lista aunque aún nos queda una sorpresa en la chistera y es que además del piloto trasero vamos a montar un motor 1776cc, Scat C35 con culatas de serie bien preparadas y todo equilibrado y preparado para refrigeración full flow.

Por lo tanto ya estara lista para nuestro próximo meeting en Andalucia, que tendrá lugar en La Herradura, costa Granadina el Domingo 14 de Noviembre, aunque algunos de nosotros nos pondremos en marcha el Sábado pues merece la pena y no menos de la vida nocturna!

And the last part of the rebuild, A 1776cc engine ready to build up, C35 Scat cam, stock heads but with a good port and polish and ready for full flow oil system. Add carbs, charging system and she will be good to go, hopefull she will be ready for the next big meet in Andalucia.
If its not already in your diary all roads lead to La Herradura, Granada, the meet is on Sunday the 14 November but a few of us like to head down on the Saturday and enjoy a bit of the night life.

Hoy en Volkstuning queremos hablaros del evento del mes, la XVII Concentración de VW Aircooled de Tossa del Mar, concentración a la que desde aquí recomendamos que hagáis al menos una vez en la vida pues merece la pena y aunque para aquellos que estamos en el Sur nos suponga una pequeña paliza, todo queda recompensado al ver y sentir el buen ambiente que se respira y si no, echad un vistazo al foro de tipo 2!!!

De paso comentaros que el proyecto que llevamos a Tossa ganó uno de los Premios Top Ten!!

Ha sido un largo Verano, y finalmente se reanuda la normalidad en Volkstuning, rogamos nos sigáis ya que hemos estado muy liados con nuestros proyectos, y algunos ya están en la carretera y se están probando y dejando listos para el final del 2010.
No ha sido, digámoslo así, un verano sin accidentes, y la Furgo Volkstuning fue victima de un accidente tan sólo una semana antes del Tarifa Volksfest, allí estábamos surfeando en el carril a 90kmh cuando sin saber de dónde nos invistieron por atrás por uno de esos utilitarios modernos de mi..da, y el conductor se disculpaba excusándose que se había mareado pero que sin problemas, que para eso están los seguros, aunque poco sabia cual difícil fue hacer que su seguro aceptara la responsabilidad de su cliente….
Como podeis ver en las fotos fue un gran golpe el que se llevo la Furgo, menos mal que nadie sufrió heridas y el motor no se dañó….

Its been a long Summer, and finally normal service has resumed at Volkstuning, please keep checking back as we have been very busy with our project cars, and some are even the road now being tested and ready for the last part of 2010
Its not been shall we say an incident free summer, and the Volkstuning Van was involved in an accident a week before the Tarifa Volksfest, there we where in the inside lane travelling along at around 90kph when out of nowhere we where hit from behind by one of those modern day pieces of crap, the driver apologized and claimed that he had had a dizzy spell, but not to worry because that’s what insurances company are for, little did he know how difficult it would be get his insurance company to accept liability….
As you can see from the pictures it was quite a hit the van suffered, luckily nobody was hurt and the engine was not damaged……….

La única forma que Volkstuning iba a reparar la Furgo era usando los mejores paneles originales que se pudieran encontrar, y tuvimos suerte de localizar un panel lateral NOS, y tb una buena esquina de segunda mano.
Las fotos muestran lo que la furgo muestra bajo una buena carrocería, esta es una furgo sólida y esperemos que sea parte de la flota Volkstuning por muchos más años,

The only way Volkstuning was going to repair this Van was by using the best original panels that we could find, we where lucky to locate a NOS side panel, and also a very good second hand corner
The pictures show what your van looks like under that lovely bodywork, this is one solid van and hopefully she wil be part of the Volkstuning fleet for many years to come

Volkstuning tiene mucha suerte de contar con un carrocero Old School, lo que no esté disponible él lo fabricara, y es un genio cuando llega la hora de ajustar paneles, si tu vehículo necesita éste tipo de atención llámanos, no es barato pero lo mejor nunca lo es….

Estimados amigos y clientes llega el Verano y como es habitual cambiamos nuestro horario durante Agosto cambia. Estaremos cerado Agosto el 2 de Agosto, pero partir del 3 de Agosto hasta 6 de septiembre nuestro horario sera el siguiente:

Lunes a Viernes: 8,00H a 15.00H

Sabado: 10.00H a 13.00H
