La parte delantera también ha recibido bastante atención, un puete con 2 pulgadas más estrecho, manguetas desplazadas, discos ventilados PCD 5/130, pinzas ATE y un bloqueo para darle algo de juego y quemar neumáticos en las salidas.
The front end has also received a lot of atention, a 2 inch narrowed beam, dropped spindles, 5/130 Pcd cross drilled brakes, ATE calipers and a line lock for a bit of burn out fun. Soon it will be time to put the car on the floor.

Ya que la carrocería ha recibido su saneado y pintura nueva sería una pena no darle al chasis la misma atención! 
While the body has been away being painted it was only fair that the chassi receive the same level of atention and detail, 50 years of use and abuse was removed and the whole floor pan given a new lease of life and protection, for this we used POR 15 products, this has long been a favorite of car restorers, gives a great finísh and protection.
Con un bonito y brillante suelo negro llego el momento de reforzar la suspensión trasera en previsión de posible acción en el cuarto de milla, pues no tiene sentido incorporar una gran cilindrada si la suspensión no puede soportarlo.
With a nice shiny black floor pan it was time to beef up the rear suspension in readiness for some quarter mile action, there is no point in fitting a big engine if the suspension cannot handle it, here you see the torque bar kit and the heavy duty intermediate gearbox mount laid out ready for fitting.
El kit de refuerzo del trapecio está montado y el motor para probarlo de manera que nos aseguramos que todo esta en su sitio, ya que es mucho más fácil sin la carcasa aunque también se puede hacer con ella!
The torque bar kit is fitted and the engine trial fitted to make sure that everthing fits, this is a lot easier with the body off but it can be done with the body on!
Al final después de muchos años el cuerpo se reune con el piso, que empieze el montaje...... el reloj continúa con su tic-tac!
